Elissa Farmer PA-C
 
   Elissa Farmer, PA-C, received her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She graduated with academic distinction from the Physician's Assistant program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.  She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician's Assistants which also granted her special recognition in surgery.

 Ms. Farmer has worked in Otolaryngology since completing her Physician's Assistant education.  With its emphasis on disease of the ears, nose and throat, otolaryngology gives Ms. Farmer the opportunity to work with people of all ages.  She also likes the flexibility of otolaryngology in the both medical treatments and surgical treatments are used to improve the quality of life of her patients.

 Ms. Farmer lives in Albemarle with her husband and their two young children.  She is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Albemarle where she serves as a Deacon.  She has been a volunteer with Hospice of Stanly County.  In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking and running.
